Water experience for groups - Hydrospeed on Jiu River

Hydrospeed or riverboarding is a form of extreme sport, in which participants sit inside rigid foam boards and move on rivers. This sport is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative water activity among rafting, stand up paddle and kayak enthusiasts.

Riverboarding is usually done on rivers. To make the experience more spicy and adrenaline-filled, you'll also experience the sport on more frozen waters.

So we can talk about routes on the fast flowing waters of the Jiu, Cerna, Crisul Repede rivers (in Romania), as well as on the glacial lakes of the Alps, which have a higher flow during summer, favouring this sport.

Equipment:

All these activities are carried out with appropriate protective equipment. In this case it is about diving fins, neoprene suits (which insulate thermally), helmets and, last but not least, life jackets.
