The winery story:

The winery is located in the village of Vadu Sapat, right on the border of Prahova and Buzau counties. Among wine connoisseurs and Prahovenians the name #Boian is already circulating, the brand name of the wine made at the winery.

The place where the winery is located has existed for more than 100 years. It was built in three years, between 1909-1912, and was completed by Italian craftsmen who arrived in Dealu Mare vineyard, where they built two other wine cellars. During this time, Clinciu Ion, the aedile of Bran, arrived in the area and married a local nobleman's daughter. At the wedding they received as dowry 20 hectares of vines, which encouraged Clinciu Ion to build a winery, using stone as raw material. At the entrance to the cellar you can still see the coat of arms inscribed in the stone, with the initials C. I and the year 1912.

The vineyard area is 6 hectares and about 20 000 bottles of wine are bottled annually. While the cellar and the production hall have been reconstructed, the old manor house, visibly destroyed, has been rebuilt. Nowadays, on the site of the manor house there is the Stone Cellar's accommodation unit, the restaurant and a terrace around it.

On the ground floor of the accommodation unit are the restaurant and the bar. All are decorated with wooden elements, fine details, string and lights in the shape of wine bottles. And when you take a seat at the table, you have the chance to witness an explosion of tastes, because that's the only way to describe the work in the kitchen. The food looks spectacular, both chromatically and taste-wise, the menu being signed by chef Marius Greab.

These arrive in bottles, bearing the Boian or Aldavin labels. Until the wine reaches the bottle, it is not subjected to any chemical treatment. There is, however, a stage in which the wine is subjected to a freezing (natural descaling) of up to -5 degrees Celsius, during which time all impurities are left towards the base of the tank, thus avoiding further deposits in the bottle.

Cancellation Policy:

The experience can be rescheduled up to 30 days before check-in.

If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days, a cancellation fee equal to the value of the reservation will be applied. In case of death, illness or other unexpected cause, a valid proof will be presented.
