Paddling on Lake Bicaz on a kayak or canoe trip

How are the kayaking and canoeing experiences?

First you will receive an instruction on how to safely use the kayaks or canoes, and after getting familiar with the equipment, you will go with your friends to explore a part of the Izvorul Muntelui Lake (Bicaz), in a tour that can last, depending on the speed of travel, about 4 hours.

These tours are easy, relaxing, are suitable for all age groups and require no previous experience.

Experience is at your disposal:

• Single kayaks, for one person, up to a weight limit of 150 kg.
• Double kayaks, for two people, up to a maximum weight of 250 kg
• Canoes for 3 or 4 adults, weighing up to 350 kg - the right boat for families with children or couples

Details of the experience:

• Location: Lake Izvorul Muntelui (Bicaz), Neamt county

• Departure point of the tours is from Bicaz Tourist Port
• The tours will last a maximum of 4 hours
• Includes: instruction, guiding and all necessary equipment (kayak/canoe, paddle, vest)

Important to know: 

• Kayaking tours are exclusively on weekends
• Tours can be postponed/rescheduled in case of bad weather conditions
• Non-swimmers can participate, only in a canoe or double kayak, accompanied by someone who can swim
• You must have with you: water shoes (you will get wet when getting in and out of the boat), equipment suitable for the weather outside, water and some snacks
• The experience is available in 3 variants: Single kayak/1 pers, Double kayak/2 pers or Family canoe/4 pers. Make sure you select the right package when purchasing it
