Description

Kickbox with co-workers - sounds interesting, right? Come to the Catalin Morosanu Academy with your team for an inspiring, technical and educational kickboxing lesson that suits your athletic skills. Training with colleagues is a motivating and fun activity that can replace a classic outing or even a team-building. After a kickboxing workout with Catalin Morosanu you will get rid of everyday stress and connect more with your colleagues.

Now you have the opportunity to confront the colleague who fills your agenda with tasks. We're kidding, of course. The workout will take place in an organized way, and in one hour you will learn kickboxing techniques and have a lot of fun!

Catalin Morosanu, who will be your trainer, has one of the most successful stories in kickboxing worldwide.

He started practicing this sport at 21, after playing rugby for Politehnica Iasi and playing with the Romanian junior national teams.

Only a few months after his first training sessions, he took part in a Local Kombat selection, where Mike Tyson was present, and managed to defeat all his opponents by KO.

This was also his ticket to the big galas. In his first professional match he defeated Mihaita Golescu in 2006, and only 7 months later he accepted to face Stefan Leko, then one of the most popular fighters in the world. He lost the decision, but earned the respect of all.

Spectacular victories and his warrior style brought him even greater challenges. He became the first Romanian to fight in a K-1 Grand Prix in Budapest in 2008 and was the first Romanian to fight in K-1 Asia. Then he scored a huge victory, winning in Taipei by KO against Junichi Sawaiashiki, who had won only a few months earlier against Jerome Le Banner.

Catalin Morosanu holds the record for consecutive wins in Superkombat. Over the years he has won against names such as Mighty Mo, Anderson Braddock Silva, Carter Williams, Gary Goodridge and Brian Douwes.

In 2012 he became the last Romanian to earn tickets to the K-1 Grand Finals. Then, in Tokyo, he defeated Paul Slowinski, knocking him out twice. Incidentally, it was declared the match of the night and Morosanu was awarded the draw to the late Andy Hug as his reward.

In 2018, he decided to create the Dynamite Fighting Show promotion and made his comeback, in Romania, after 3 years of break, with a five-star fight against Freddy Kemayo, winning against him in Bucharest.

Kick Boxing or kickboxing is a fighting sport, which has its origins in Japan, from where it spread to the USA and Europe. This discipline combines kicking techniques, typical of oriental martial arts, with punching techniques, typical of boxing. It is a sport that can be practised by everyone, both men and women, because it improves physical strength and self-confidence. It is also an excellent remedy against stress as well as a beneficial workout. The typical kick boxing workout is intense, thus stimulating cardiovascular function, which brings a consistent improvement in endurance.

In addition, the workouts improve tone in the legs, abdomen, buttocks, arms and shoulders.

Kick boxing is a martial art, which involves the use of fists and legs according to specific techniques. The punches used in kick boxing are based on the techniques used in boxing: jabs, crosses, uppercuts and combinations of the three. There are different types of kicking techniques in kick boxing, some of which are considered fundamental, while others are variations or special techniques that can be used in the fight.
