Unforgettable family adventure at Drift Karting in Iasi

Come to the first and only indoor drift karting circuit in Romania, created by one of the top companies in the field based in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates, whose owner is a former F2 world champion! 

It is part of Wonder City, the largest amusement park in the region, which covers an area of over 10,000 square meters2. The karting circuit offers a unique and thrilling experience for speed and drifting lovers.

It is located in a central area with easy access by public transportation, private car or pedestrian.

The surface is semi-slippery and the feeling is that of drifting on snow which makes it very FUN, but also safe to come with the whole family.

It has a terrace / bar area where you can serve various specific products, but also from where you can try a driving experience on one of the car simulators - simulators on which even rally drivers train (not included in the package).

General rules

• Photo ID required
• Children under 14 years of age need the written consent of a parent/legal guardian
• Collision with another participant is forbidden
• Smoking is forbidden inside the complex
• Always follow and respect the staff's instructions
• In the pit lane you will drive at reduced speed
• It is forbidden to wear a helmet without a balaclava
• Make sure your helmet is fastened with a safety clip
• Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened

Age / Height / Clothing

• Minimum age and height for junior karts: 6 years / 130 cm
• Minimum age and height for senior karts: 15 years / 140 cm
• Weight limit for junior karts: 65 kg
• Senior kart weight limit: 130 kg
• Combined weight double kart: 145 kg
• Minimum age and height for double kart with passenger: 18 years (driver), 3 years / 85 cm (passenger)
• No loose clothing (regular clothing recommended)
• No open footwear (flip-flops, sandals etc.)

Main differences between Drift Karting and normal Karting:

Driving style:

• Normal Karting: Focus on speed and precision, aiming for the fastest lap time
• Drift karting: Focus on control and drifting style, where drivers must maintain a controlled glide through the corners

Circuit Design:

• Normal Karting: The circuit is designed for fast racing, with tight turns and straight lines to maximize speed
• Drift karting: The circuit is designed to facilitate drifting, with wide turns and surfaces that allow controlled sliding

Vehicle Type:

• Normal Karting: Uses standard karts optimized for speed and handling
• Drift karting: Uses modified karts designed to facilitate drifting and provide a different driving experience

Competitions and evaluation:

• Standard karting: Competitions are time-based, with the winner being the one who finishes the race in the fastest time
• Drift karting: Competitions are judged on drifting style, control and technique, not just speed
