Learn the secrets of science - online workshop for children between 7-10 years old

What do children learn on the course?

The teacher will familiarize the children with the basics of Physics and Chemistry, Geography, Geology, Paleontology, Meteorology and will even give them information about Prehistory and Ancient History. Also, in order to fix the information better and easier, during the session, the children will also craft a small handmade project or recreate a scientific experiment.

About the teacher:

Diana Chirita has been passionate about everything science since she was a child, with a special interest in Astronomy and everything related to Earth Sciences. She likes reading (science fiction and science popularization books), classical music, flowers and of course children.

Although she finished her studies in Business Administration, Diana refocused on her older passion, she took an in-depth course in Astronomy and since 2018 she has been giving presentations for schools and associations, at various public events, such as AstroFest or SfiFi Fest. She is involved as a volunteer in various social projects for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially in the field of Education.

• The science workshop takes place online, on the Zoom platform, and includes 1 session, lasting 60 minutes
• The workshop is held in groups of 2-6 children
• Experience for a child between 7 and 10 years old
• The workshop runs frequently throughout the year
• Materials needed will be announced before each session, depending on the topic/theme proposed
