Holiday activity - Rock climbing in Baia Mare

Do you need some adventure and adrenaline in your holiday? Rock climbing is the perfect holiday activity for any nature and sport lover. You can enjoy climbing routes with different difficulty levels. Some of the locations have routes suitable for children. So adults and children can participate in the experience. The routes are for beginners as well as for experienced climbers. 

The activity is done together with Zuza (Zoltan Ferenczi), a passionate and experienced climbing instructor, certified by the Ministry of Education and Sport. Zuza has been climbing for 20 years, is passionate about everything that means mountain, hiking and rock climbing and for 5 years he has been organizing courses for adults and children in Maramures. He is a patient and warm man, who emphasizes both fun and safety.

You can choose the 1 day or 3 hours package:

For the more adventurous and courageous we recommend the 1 day (7-8 h) rock climbing outing, which is done at one of the four approved crags in the area (at your choice or depending on the level of difficulty).

The climbing location and climbing routes are determined by the guide depending on the number of participants, their level of training and weather conditions. These may be subject to change due to circumstances to ensure the smooth running of the event and the safety of the participants.

Cocos Ridge

*For the 3h experience, the rocks Piatra Virgina, Limpedea Ferneziu and Piatra Vlaicului will be climbed.
