Without study, without carefully observing the details that surround us, we cannot move on to the next stage in the creative process. Everything is closely connected. From the correct way to hold the pencil in the right hand, to the pagination, to the view in space, to the proportions and ratios between elements, to the valence and the heft and rendering of materiality, it is all a perpetual process of exercise and observation. We will work in different techniques and materials specific to drawing (pencil, charcoal etc.).

About Raluca Cozma 

Raluca Cozma is a visual artist with over 20 years experience in the visual arts.

She has positive feedback from both adults and children for the individual classes she does with them, because her teaching method and approach is different. It is based on their wishes and what they want to learn, and not on the traditional teaching method. 

It is basically a collaboration, and she is a "coach", not a teacher, and the children love this, as they feel they are free and not "corrected" on their work. The children have told her she is their "favorite teacher". 

"I am a visual artist from Brasov and all I wanted to do in my life was to paint and draw, and I have had this passion since I was little. I like to work, experiment and play with different types of materials and that's why I don't have a very well defined style. Sometimes I want to make collages, sometimes I want to paint with watercolors, sometimes I want to experiment and play with different materials and different techniques. I also don't have a favorite subject or theme to paint. 

Creativity has no limits for me. I paint everywhere and on everything. From mural painting, furniture painting, glass painting, jewelry making, painting on objects and I also paint people (face painting and body painting). 

I graduated in 1996 from the High School of Fine Arts in Brasov, after 8 years of studies, Mural Painting-Decorative Arts section. 

I worked for more than 10 years in the 3D field of long and short animated films, as well as video games (modeling, texturing, animation), both in Brasov and in Bucharest, but I returned to my greatest passion, art. 

I had numerous exhibitions and participated in various cultural events, both locally and in the country."
