Via Ferrata in the Bicaz Gorge National Park area

Via Ferrata Ferencz

The route is named after the renowned climber Wild Ferenc, who was a climbing coach, and founder of the Suhardu-Mic Mountain Rescue team, which later became Dancuras Mountain Rescue: a team that is still active today, and who built this route.

Via Ferrata Astra Galus: 

The route is named Astra Galus, after a plant, which exists only in the area of Cheile Bicazului. Astra Galus is the longest Via Ferrata route in Romania. The panorama is fascinating, with the possibility to abandon the route halfway through if you don't want to continue. The route was designed by the well-known climber Ticu Lacatusu.

E = very difficult (technical climbing, with difficult passages, sometimes overhanging)
