3-night traditional holiday in the forest with activities included

The next holiday must be unique! We invite you to a traditional village in the Buzaului Mountains, where you can discover the roots of the Romanian people and where you can learn two traditional crafts: weaving and pottery. Enjoy the silence of the forest in a traditional house, on the opposite side of the Rock Shelters and taste delicious local dishes, cooked according to old recipes, with natural ingredients. In addition to workshops, you'll also enjoy a hike with a local guide.

The traditional house in which you will be accommodated, is built exclusively of wood and stone, covered with shingles, and is located in the heart of the forest, on the opposite side of the Rock Art Site. Here you will find a healing space for mind and body and a place to relax and (re)connect with nature.

This accommodation is part of a project to promote responsible tourism, setting examples of good practice in tourism development in the Alunis - Colti area, part of the Buzaului County, UNESCO Geopark.

The natural wilderness area is away from noise. The rooms are decorated in a traditional minimalist, almost monastic style, to facilitate introspection and reconnection both with oneself and with nature. The guest house has 6 rooms (double, twin and triple/quadruple possible), attic - common relaxation space, generous garden with gazebo, fire pit and seating, and a covered terrace for dining. The whole house has underfloor heating and is set at a constant temperature of 22°C.

Experience details:

• The location is in Colti Commune, Buzau
• The experience includes 3 nights accommodation with half board, 2 hours pottery workshop, war weaving workshop, hiking
• The pottery workshop takes place every Sunday from 11:00. On request, it can also be organised on any other day of the week
• During the winter months, in case of very low temperatures, the art centre is closed
• The experience is for two people.
