Let yourself be fascinated by the splendour of the Danube Delta, on a trip to the most interesting village in the area, Letea - one of the best preserved traditional villages, with a very special forest, wild horses and delicious traditional dishes.

You will stop in the village of Mila23 to enjoy a coffee, then you will go on another trail with wild lakes and canals to the village of Letea.

You will see wild horses, oaks growing on salty sand and other local attractions (depending on the season).

In Letea you can visit the village or have a traditional lunch (optional) at an authentic farm. After lunch you will return to Tulcea, mostly on the same route as the arrival, but we assure you that in the opposite direction, everything looks completely different.

Trip Tulcea - Mile 23 - 6h/boat

Discover the village of Mila23, on a picturesque route, on small lakes and canals. Departing from Tulcea on the Tulcea arm of the Danube, you will enter the Danube Delta after 15 minutes. From there, a chain of small canals and lakes will take you slowly to the village of Mila23, in the middle of the Danube Delta.

The route is carefully chosen by the guides, depending on the season, water level, weather and... years of knowledge about the Danube Delta. The scenic route is very rich in fauna and flora. 

At the stop in Mila23 you can visit the village or have a traditional lunch (optional). After lunch you will return, mostly on the same route, but we assure you that in the opposite direction everything looks completely different. On the way back, the boat speed is average.

Trip Tulcea - Sontea - 4h/boat

Enjoy a short but intense experience on a guided boat trip in the Danube Delta, morning or evening. Discover the Sontea Channel, on a picturesque route, on lakes and small canals.

This is a great option for travellers who want to see a natural, bird-filled Delta. 

Departing from Tulcea, you will enter the Danube Delta after 15 minutes. From there, a chain of small canals and lakes will take you slowly along the Sontea Canal and into some interesting parts of the Danube.

Details:

• For those who prefer the sunrise experience, the route will start at sunrise time, and for those who prefer the evening tour, it will take place in the last 4 hours of natural light

• It is important to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled time

• Recommended personal equipment: binoculars, long trousers and long sleeved shirts to protect you from the sun, sun hat (not cap), sunglasses, jacket, raincoat, hiking shoes. Please take these recommendations very seriously, as the weather in the Danube Delta can be very fickle.
• For a group of 10 people we will use a boat with 12 seats (10 tourists, guide and driver).
• Children, regardless of their age, are counted as one person when calculating the total number of people on the boat
