Bear watching in Sinca Noua, for groups

Observe brown bears in their natural habitat, in the wild, in the virgin forest area of Sinca Noua, Brasov county. 

This experience will give you the opportunity to study closely the real behavior of bears, for a period of 2 hours, accompanied by a specialized guide who will explain you everything about their way of life, and what you should do to avoid meeting the bear. After noon, you will be picked up in Brasov and after a one and a half hour drive, you will arrive in the area of the virgin forest of Sinca Noua, in Brasov county.

Together with the guide and the forester, you will go deep into the forest of Strambei Valley, to take part in a wild bear watching session. You don't need to be in exceptional physical condition, just have the right footwear for walking on rough terrain, through a little mud and be patient. Once at the observatory, you'll wait for the bears to appear in the area. It's very important to keep quiet, don't use camera or cell phone blinks and avoid getting close to the glass or making sudden movements. Throughout the experience, the guide will tell you about the bears' behavior and answer any questions you may have about them. After about two hours, you will return to the car and will be transferred back to Brasov.

• Observatory location: Sinca Noua, Brasov county
• Package includes: round-trip transfer from Brasov
• Duration: 2 hours in a covered bear observatory, equipped with mirror windows and benches
• Children under 7 are accepted only if they keep quiet for 2 hours
• Footwear suitable for walking on rough roads (no flip-flops, sandals or sneakers) and dark clothing without bright colors is recommended
• No food, snacks, chips or other foods are allowed at the observatory. Water or juice is allowed
• Our partners cannot 100% guarantee that you will see bears, as the activity takes place in the wild in an environment that is not controlled. The appearance of bears depends on many factors: weather, season, terrain conditions etc
